The place was spotless and the rooms were spacious, complete with air conditioning and WiFi. The bed was very comfortable, even offering a side sleeping pillow. A desk for work, a wardrobe to unpack, and a full-length mirror were all nice touches. Free refillable drinking water was a welcome perk. I was so comfortable that I extended my stay for another night, and I returned after an eight‑day motorbike trip through Flores. The staff were very accommodating, letting me store my large backpacker pack with them during the trip. The value for money feels good overall. The downside is that the private bathroom lacks a hot shower, though the water isn’t freezing cold. The room temperature is fine, and it seems like construction or renovations are happening, so that might improve in the future. I wasn’t given clear information about breakfast—hours, what’s served, where it’s located—perhaps because communication with staff requires Google Translate. The water station should probably be wiped down daily, because when people use the hot water option, their coffee splatters all over it. I had a scooter, so that wasn’t an issue for me, but other travelers should know that you definitely need a scooter because the facility is about a 15‑minute ride to town.
