The spot is killer – a gorgeous terrace with a view that takes your breath away. The host cooks up a hearty, fresh dinner every night, and the breakfast is solid too. The room’s clean enough, but a bit more polish would be nice, and there’s a fair amount of litter around the property.

“Fijn verblijf in een prachtige omgeving!”

We were welcomed warmly by the family and even had smooth WhatsApp chats before we arrived. The room looked out over a stunning vista, and we ate breakfast on the terrace with that same view. Even at night the cozy lights made it feel special. The room and bathroom were spacious and tidy, the AC worked well, and the breakfast was tasty and plenty. The homemade red wine they made was a real treat.

“Excellent séjour !! Nous recommandons !!”

We had an amazing stay at Memo’s Guest House – a true escape from the bustle of Girokaster. The view is spectacular and the room was perfect. Christophe blended modern touches with authentic charm and treated us like family. He arranged a visit to the village church on arrival, and the next day took us to a monastery and a waterfall where we even swam. Later we stayed with a friend of his who treated us to homemade food and drinks, and we bought some excellent honey.
