This review is almost as long as our stay – I hope it helps someone decide. September 2026 marked our first visit to Morocco and it was ‘planned’ at the 11th hour – we had little time to cross‑check detailed reviews and photos to find something that would guarantee a perfect stay. We even considered staying in a hotel for safety and comfort, but we tentatively chose a riad for the experience. I can tell you now that it could not have been more comfortable and enjoyable than Zen Zone Boutique Riad & Spa! I have no regrets, and if I went to Marrakesh again I would book this place with my eyes closed. The manager, Anass, messaged a day before to see if we needed airport pickup or food upon arrival. I had some questions about room amenities – Anass replied before I finished typing, showing he is extremely efficient, reliable, dedicated, and has a great sense of humour. Yassin and Oussama were also very pleasant and helpful – together with Anass they anticipated anything that would make our stay more comfortable. The cooking, cleaning, and laundry staff were lovely and left no room for complaints. We also met the wonderful owner, who visits regularly and clearly takes a keen yet gentle approach to keeping his business in top condition. The place is clean, calm, and has a very pleasant, positive vibe with modern interiors. All staff are polite, cultured, and genuinely sincere. Everyone becomes your friend, and it feels like staying with friends and family. We were welcomed with tea and accompaniments, then given a QR code for the internet. We were also provided with a map where Anass highlighted all the things we could do – explaining history, logistics, etc., and offering both private transport and alternative options.

The location was perfect, in the historic centre, letting you soak in the authentic Marrakech atmosphere. The spa is magnificent and the massage is truly worth it. The riad is very quiet. You can check in at any time without worries. The staff are very attentive. The rooms are gorgeous and have all the necessary equipment! The products are excellent. No negative points.

We were two couples, a pleasant stay at Zen Zone, with all staff welcoming and attentive. The riad is very chic, with high‑quality service, quiet, and close to the Medina, Jemaa el‑Fnaa, restaurants, shops… Thank you warmly for your kindness. We will return without hesitation.

“Just book it. Great for couples or small groups as there is a shared balcony that is very cute”

The design, cleanliness, staff, WiFi, shower and AC. The were incredibly helpful and courteous. They fulfilled all my requests with kindness and in a friendly manner. They clearly want to stand out and make a real effort. The cleaners never stop either. Nothing about the property just the immediate area is very dirty but this is the old town
