“A slice of heaven in Lombardy”
Cristina and Germano were wonderful hosts. Our room overlooked the pool and garden, and the property itself offered a breathtaking view of the Lombardy region. A quick drive took us to Lake Como and its bustle, then back to this peaceful haven. The room was new, roomy, and had world‑class amenities. The church bells chimed softly each morning. The site is also the birthplace of Pope Giovanni XXIII. Breakfast was generous with fresh fruit, breads, meats, cheeses, coffee, croissants, yogurt, and eggs cooked to order.
