Pier, Maddalena, and the family were very friendly and helpful; I loved the retro touches in every detail, from the Bavaria porcelain to the cat‑themed mural and sink tap, and the garden was delightful while the view was priceless; the room had everything for breakfast, including milk and a coffee machine that was highly appreciated, and the tap water was drinkable; it had everything a traveler might need even if not heavily equipped, plus a beach umbrella that was very useful; the consortium shuttle was convenient and stopped right in front of the house, and there were many pleasant walks to go down and up, with the Belvedere trail allowing sandals but with caution on one section—closed shoes are recommended, though I managed with sandals for going down but closed shoes were mandatory for climbing; you can also descend via the main road, which is a very pleasant walk; the Castelletto beach is stunning and I recommend it; it’s easily reachable on foot or by shuttle, and I’ll definitely return.
