Hotel Gappmaier

The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The location is great, with the town centre within walking distance, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The spa was nice. On the downside, some staff were a bit rude at times, parking is a bit far, and the body towels were very small. We asked for extra towels, but the cleaners took the extra ones away before we could use them. A large spider was spotted in the room, the restaurant closed early, and the pool is smaller than it appears in the photos.

The pool area was exceptionally lovely, and the snacks and teas added a nice touch; breakfast was tasty and the lounge was great for an evening drink. I really appreciated the joker card and bike‑hire discount too—this modern chalet was executed well. The downside was that we either didn’t know how to use the air‑con or there was none, so it felt hot some nights even in September.

“Eine erholsame schöne Reise definitiv wert!”

The owner’s friendliness, the pool, and the room were all very clean and pleasant, and breakfast felt like a dream. The only negative was that it was very warm in the room :(
