The host replied quickly, but there was no AC as advertised and the beds were uncomfortable. We were escorted to a different property down the road, so I’m unsure what the actual space looks like; our room didn’t match the listing. We left after one night and found another spot for the next night.

The hostel sits in a quiet spot near the center, the host is kind and helpful, parking is across from the hostel or on a nearby street around the corner, the breakfast is good, and the price‑to‑quality ratio of the accommodation is perfect.

Luli proved to be an outstanding host, always checking in to make sure everything was fine. Every morning he prepared a breakfast to go, and he even let me rent a bicycle, which I think is the only real way to explore Shkoder. The second property had a portable AC unit that was a lifesaver in the summer heat. The place was spotless, had a kitchen for cooking, and felt very homely. Communication was excellent.

From the moment we stepped inside, it felt like home. The breakfasts were hearty, homemade, and even wrapped up for take‑away if you needed. Juli and Luli were charming hosts who shared great travel tips and invited us to join their table for fresh fruit, raki, and the best ice cream I’ve had in Albania. We chatted with them several times and always left feeling enriched. We even came back after visiting Valbonë just to be there again. Thanks for the warm welcome and kindness!

Nestled among stunning mountains, this place feels like a little paradise. The couple served fresh garden‑grown food and gave us solid travel advice. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and soak up Albanian nature. Thank you!
