Whale in Sea turned out to be an Airbnb rather than a conventional hotel, but the place is newly renovated with a large bedroom, high‑quality bathroom fittings and fresh linens, and the beds were definitely comfortable. The young, upbeat staff offered free pick‑up and drop‑off from the airport and train station, gave solid tips on local sights and food, and even took me to the market to buy fresh seafood that we cooked together, greeting us with freshly ground coffee.

The owner was extremely welcoming and gave honest, helpful advice; the beach is just a short walk away and the evenings are quiet. The room was clean, tidy, and equipped with smart furniture, making it ideal for couples or families. The host’s cooking skills are impressive—whether it’s frying, boiling, or stir‑frying, they can handle it all—so I’d definitely stay again.
