Located on the harbour side, Scandic Visby is a short walk from Visby's medieval city centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Gotland ferry terminal. Free WiFi is available in all rooms, which feature TVs, private bathrooms, and some with private furnished patios. The hotel offers a playground, lobby bar, poolside restaurant, and on-site parking (additional cost applies).

The room was good, but the parking area was awful—definitely not worth staying here if you have a car or don't want to deal with it. Pointing out the ferry parking is just nonchalant. Apparently some people can book parking, but regular guests can't. I won't stay here again if I have a car in the future. Breakfast is mediocre compared to the old Hamnhotellet.

The renovation is messy and parking is difficult.

The hotel’s location, the bubble pool, and the sauna are positives, but the bed creaked and the springs made noise when I moved, which disrupted my sleep.
