I was thrilled to find the place only a 25‑minute train ride from Sevenoaks into London, which made it super convenient, and the surrounding nature was absolutely gorgeous. The only downside was waking up very early to the summer sun shining through the roof window—though that same window lets you see the stars at night—and the constant traffic from Heathrow with planes taking off and landing.
