The mattress and sheets were very good, giving a nice rest, and the shared shower was clean and of high quality. Nothing to complain about.

The cleaning crew was really nice and the room stayed spotless; the price was very low for the decent spot, and the hotel felt safe with functional locks and thick walls that kept out other rooms' noise. The fan and lights were easy to control, and the shower and toilet were reasonably clean. However, the whole hotel had a slightly odd smell that lingered on my clothes, the room itself was tiny, and the décor outside the rooms looked a bit dated and worn.

The staff were friendly and the location was very convenient, just a 4‑minute walk to Safeway.

Everyone on the staff was friendly and quick to respond, and my room looked better than others I’d seen; the location was good and the breakfast spot nearby was excellent. Initially it seemed fine, but after a while many issues surfaced: the room had no mirror and no mirror was available anywhere else in the building. I asked reception, then returned with photos of mirrors in other rooms; they installed one almost immediately, and the staff were all very good and nice. The window was broken so it wouldn’t close, and the room overlooked an outdoor bar—the loudest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in, with music blasting all afternoon. Even after the music stopped, I could hear the neighbours’ TV and their snoring. The walls were the thinnest ever, so I could never relax or sleep properly.

The hotel was reasonable for the price, the room was clean and in order, and for my 2‑night stay it was absolutely sufficient. I’d come back again.
