The room was magnificent, beautiful, large, cozy, with excellent renovation and furniture, and everything needed was there; the cleanliness was flawless and the balcony view was wonderful; the host was very welcoming and I didn't want to leave—I'd give this hotel 5 stars!

The room was huge, freshly renovated, and lovely, with a small kitchen and a charming balcony; downstairs there’s a beautiful shop to buy souvenirs, and everything was perfect.

It’s one of the cleanest and coziest places I’ve stayed; it’s stylishly and practically furnished, the location is very convenient, and the view is fantastic, though I wish I had stayed longer.

Backpackers should note that Chipka can be reached from Kazanlak on bus 6 for €1.60, departing hourly; the hotel sits right at the foot of the coast leading to the monastery and the soundproofing was flawless—we never heard the bells with the windows shut. The host was very discreet, even emptying our bins while we were out, and the room was spacious with a kitchenette equipped with a microwave and fridge. Two grocery stores are right at the village square (the bus terminus). Overall we rested well in a place that delivered the basics: comfort, cleanliness and space. The only thing missing was a basin for doing a little laundry.
