The Doce Lar spot is fantastic—rooms are big, airy and surprisingly cozy despite the simple décor, and the price‑to‑value ratio is hard to beat. The hosts are genuinely friendly, which adds a lot to the stay. At first the neighborhood felt a bit out of the way, but it turned out to be a quiet, almost countryside vibe right near the beach.

The staff were super attentive, and even the resident pup Lupi added a friendly touch. The rooms and linens smelled fresh and were spotless, and they tossed us a complimentary coffee and cake, which was a nice perk.

We were welcomed warmly by the host, who stayed helpful the whole time, and the rest of the team was equally attentive. The property is tidy and boasts a great outdoor area with a kitchen, BBQ and a hammock spot to relax. The bedrooms are comfortable, making the whole place well worth it.

Reception was solid and the place itself was clean and tidy, offering good value for the price. The only downside is that the neighborhood is pretty far out, which can be a hassle if you’re not driving.
