“Do not book here”
The location was good, right on the lake, but our stay at Jade Hotel was extremely disappointing. The biggest problem was the noise: a club upstairs played music so loud every night, on weekdays until about 2 AM and on Friday until 4 AM, with a constant “boom‑boom” bass that made it impossible to sleep and even affected our work the next day. Even after we asked to be moved to a lower floor, the noise remained clearly audible. There were also loud guests shouting, arguing, or singing on the balconies late at night (2–3 AM), and the staff did nothing to enforce quiet hours. The staff were very slow and unhelpful; most requests were ignored or delayed, and there was often no one at reception, especially at night. They answered the phone quickly, but no real action followed. Hot water was unavailable most of the time, despite repeated complaints—a basic service the hotel consistently failed to provide. We had to change rooms because the toilet in the first one did not flush. The second room was slightly better, but that should never happen. A particularly concerning incident occurred when my partner slipped and fell after a shower; when I called reception for ice, they said they didn’t have any, and only after repeated requests did they bring some. There was no first aid kit, which is unacceptable for any hotel, and the staff never followed up or asked about his condition afterward. We also used the hotel’s laundry service, which was significantly overpriced compared to local options, and several items came back damaged—lighter clothes turned grey and some details were broken. This was completely unacceptable. Breakfast was average at best.
