The view was stunning, and waking up to it was worth the stay. The hospitality was excellent, and I’ll definitely return if I’m in the area again. The all‑wood building feels unique and has a great vibe.

Waking up right in front of the rice fields was lovely, though we had hoped for a higher floor for an even better view. Breakfast was good, and we appreciated the early service an hour before the usual start time. The room wasn’t very clean; it was sandy and dusty around the bed, and we found animal droppings near the sink, probably from a gecko or mouse. The bathroom was partially open to the outside, attracting many ants, and the pictures on Booking didn’t reveal which room we’d get until arrival.

The view and walk through the rice field and garden were nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodation suffered from dark, dirty windows, open wooden slats with plastic sheeting, and the living room had no sheeting at all. We had to pay for an extra mattress that was laid on the floor in that living room. The sheets were sticky and damp. The upper floor we rented absorbed all the noise from the busy road. Additionally, it was very close to several mosques, which was hard to manage with the open construction. When plastic and leaves burned in the field, smoke entered the room 24 hours a day. The wooden floor was only swept, leaving it dirty and filthy. In the bathroom, plastic sheeting with bedbugs was attached to the wall, and there were bedbugs on the floor. The toilet bowl was dirty, with brown stains of feces or fly droppings on the outside. There were old food remnants or worse under the bathroom. There was no toilet paper and the soap dispensers were empty. The large rooftop terrace had only one chair, which is useful if you book for three people. The floor below had three chairs, but we weren’t allowed to use them. Breakfast was thin and offered little choice. We booked for three days based on reviews, but left after one horrible night.

Maison magnifique, chambre spacieuses et personnel tres bien. Le bruit de la rue et des mosquées dans la chambre au 2e etage. Beaucoup mieux au rdc
