The breakfast was amazing, and Mrs. Iva, who prepared it, made sure we had everything we needed, often more. Every morning I looked forward to the breakfast. No complaints.

The apartment was surprisingly spacious, and every corner was spotless. The manager was a real gem—always smiling, chatty, and ready to help with anything. We especially enjoyed the pool with its hot‑tub feature, and honestly there was nothing that bothered us.

Everything about the chalet hit the mark. The lady who ran the place knew the area inside out, pointing us to good hikes, restaurants, and even hidden spots. The rooms were big and cozy, the kitchen fully stocked, and the on‑site bistro on the ski slope was perfect for a post‑trek beer. With garages, a self‑service bar, a big common room, gym, sauna and hot tub, we’re already planning a return.

We’ve now been here twice and each stay has been fantastic. The cottage blends stylish décor with the surrounding Šumava scenery, and everything—from the spotless rooms to the thoughtful little details—felt well‑planned. Mrs Ivy’s service was outstanding, especially her homemade breakfasts and the friendly chats she’d strike up each morning.

The manager was always ready to help, and the breakfast spread was solid, setting a nice tone for the day. Our room was large and well‑equipped, and the covered parking was a relief in winter. The location was handy for a quick run to a small ski slope or a cross‑country trail, making it a good base for winter sports.
