We stayed at a solid hotel that delivers great value for the price. Breakfast was included and ran from 8‑11 am, giving us enough time to sleep in and eat comfortably; there were several dishes to choose from, balanced in macros, and they also offered oatmeal on the side. My husband and I always finished our breakfast before lunch. The staff were polite and handled the paperwork for a Kazakhstan stay‑in‑record for the bank very quickly. The hotel was clean, with regular housekeeping and pleasant scented sprays that filled the corridors with perfume—no one seemed to overdo it. Water coolers were on each floor and kept full; the room didn’t have a kettle, but we never needed a hair dryer. The bed was comfortable, pillows were the right height and firmness, so my neck didn’t tire. Location is awesome: it’s a 15‑minute walk from the Astana metro, and everything nearby—restaurants, grocery stores, a T‑ele2 shop, and a 15‑20 minute walk to the C‑on—makes it easy to get around. There are many banks within walking distance, though some branches are on the opposite side of town, which you can reach by the reliable new buses. The area is a student hub with several universities and a few parks to stroll. If you arrive early, you’ll have to wait for check‑in, but the hotel offers a luggage storage room. Minor complaints: some furniture is a bit worn, the windows don’t open perfectly, but these are trivial. No mold, no bad smells, smoking isn’t allowed, breakfast is served in the morning, the price is reasonable, the hotel was quiet with few guests, and overall it’s a good spot. The building also has a sauna, but we’re not sauna fans, so I don’t have much to say about it.

We appreciated the helpful staff who let us check in early after a long overnight flight, and the hotel was fairly clean. The neighborhood felt worn‑out and a bit sketchy, and we had to walk a long way to find interesting spots. One night, loud music from somewhere in the building started around midnight; we called reception, who said it was coming from the sauna. We had to call again at about 1 am to stop the music so we could sleep. The next morning, our room had no running water; they couldn’t fix it and never followed up on our complaint, so we left without being able to shower or brush our teeth.

The rooms and overall vibe of the hotel were good, but the breakfast felt a bit thin and the staff seemed distracted.
