“My preferred style of accomodation.”
The staff were amazing, the location was excellent, the breakfast was plentiful, and the front sitting room opened onto fresh air and deer views.

The ryokan was wonderfully situated near the main attractions, the staff were friendly, and I loved the view from my room.

I had booked the wrong date by accident, yet the staff were so kind and helpful in fixing my reservation and even upgraded me to a room with a better view.

I appreciated the thoughtfulness of all the staff! However, the sheets were torn.

The location, futons, and thermal bath were fine (not a real onsen since the water was artificially heated, but it was clean and well equipped). The place is a traditional Japanese-style accommodation but it’s quite outdated and needs a full renovation of all facilities, the reception, the elevator, the hallways, the room, the bathroom—everything shows the passage of time and a certain weariness. It’s a shame because it was the only ryokan we stayed at and it didn’t meet our expectations. On the other hand, I saw comments recommending breakfast, but this ryokan doesn’t serve breakfast. I asked about it and they confirmed that there is no food or breakfast service.
