“A once in a lifetime trip! A must stay!”

We had an unforgettable safari at Ndlovu Lodge, and honestly, we couldn’t have imagined a better experience. From the moment we arrived, every detail was amazing. The setting was breathtaking, with stunning views of the game reserve and our private pool where we could unwind and soak in the scenery. A highlight was the occasional visits from the lodge’s resident elephant guest—watching an elephant drift past the pool was pure magic. The food was consistently delicious, with fresh dishes each day, and on our last night the team hosted a fantastic BBQ that capped off the trip perfectly. Service was outstanding; the whole team was warm, welcoming, and attentive, going above and beyond to meet our needs. When my luggage was delayed, they drove over an hour to retrieve it for me, showing remarkable care and hospitality. The game drives were the real stars of the stay. We went on both morning and evening drives daily, each offering new and exciting sights. April, our guide and driver, was fantastic—extremely knowledgeable about the reserve and its wildlife, and he made a real effort to give us the best experience. His passion shone through, and thanks to him we saw an impressive variety of animals, including the Big Five. Thank you to April, Jan, Peter, Charnell, and everyone else at Ndlovu for making our honeymoon so special—we’ll definitely return!

“Bush break”

The food was tasty, the rooms were pleasant, and the outdoor spaces were great. Everyone was super friendly, especially April, and the owners were on hand daily. Getting there from Johannesburg was a breeze.

“Ein kleines Paradies”

We spent four nights at Ndlovu Safari Lodge and were blown away; from both our rooms and the main house we enjoyed spectacular wildlife views as zebras, kudus, warthogs and even elephants passed by, and the staff made the experience unforgettable. Our guide April was knowledgeable and shared his passion for animals, often spotting them before anyone else. Jan and Zack looked after us attentively on site, friendly, humorous and fulfilled every request without being pushy—simply great. The food was a highlight, rarely have we eaten so well. Thanks to Simon, Peter and the whole crew, and the housekeeping was superb. Arriving late on day one, we could be picked up for an extra fee, which worked smoothly after we were informed in advance. We felt completely at ease and would gladly return any time. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing time at this hotel, the staff and owners were incredibly welcoming and made me feel like part of the family. The location was peaceful and the rooms were spotless, with delicious food to boot. The sendoff I received, complete with drums and song, was a special touch that I'll always remember.
