Nice location, but the rooms were rather small and there was no balcony.

The room was lovely and the food was amazing! The location was great, but it seemed odd that everyone was charged the same amount whether they were two people in a room with beds or three people on futons in a cramped room.

Breakfast and dinner were plentiful, and the staff were very good.

Everything was magnificent! The ryokan was very beautiful with a view of the bay, a nearby beach, and a walking area. It was a bit awkward that the ryokan has no elevator and the staff, including the girls, had to carry our suitcases up to the third floor. I hope they can install elevators soon in a way that preserves the charm of a traditional ryokan without exploiting the staff or straining their backs.
