The vibe is like staying at grandma’s for the weekend—homey. Helen was super friendly and helpful, a lovely lady overall. It’s an old building, some things need fixing or maintenance, but nothing major.

Not much beyond parking. No bad aspects of the property.

The location is great, and the room was cozy. The crows dancing early on the rooftop were hilarious.

The people are very nice! The room and area were exceptionally clean. Helen, the owner, and her husband were so sweet; she left us a card for our anniversary and a small bag of candy. I’ve never experienced such kindness and thoughtfulness at any other place. Nothing else.

The staff were fantastic—friendly and welcoming, and the spot is a great one. We were just a short walk from the beach and right outside the city limits, far enough from the tourist crowds to feel like a quiet escape. The room had a cozy cabin vibe, and I’m already planning a return. The only downside was having to head back to the city afterward; I wish I could stay there longer!
