I absolutely loved my stay here. I felt so safe in such a beautiful location. Herri and his family were friendly and welcoming! It’s a beautiful spot and offers incredible value for money. I would highly recommend Medewi Sunrise.

The only positive thing about this booking was the location, which would have been ideal for exploring the area by scooter. Unfortunately, I never got to experience it because the property was completely deserted upon arrival… DO NOT STAY HERE. I arrived at the accommodation by scooter and was left stranded outside for 45 minutes with no sign of the host. Being on a road trip, I had no choice but to leave and book alternative accommodation for the night. When I finally managed to contact the owner, I was given an excuse about a hospital stay and told someone had been sent to meet me. When I clarified that nobody showed up, the owner had the audacity to accuse me of staying the night anyway. This is a blatant lie. I have provided undeniable proof of my payment and stay at the alternative property, yet I am still being refused a refund. At this point, it is not even about the money; it is the absolute lack of principle and integrity. Save yourself the stress and avoid this place entirely. Response to the host's reply: I am updating this review to address the host's inaccurate response: Check‑in Instructions: No self‑check‑in instructions or information about a key being left in the door were provided prior to my arrival. A guest cannot be expected to guess this. The "Threats" Claim: Mentioning that I filmed my wait at the empty property wasn't a threat. It was simply letting you know I have clear evidence to prove I never checked in, after you claimed I had slept there. The Refund: Using personal insults as an excuse to keep the money for a service you failed to provide speaks volumes about your business practices. This was a simple case of an operational breakdown on your end. I have the evidence to prove I could not check in and stayed elsewhere. Keep the money; your handling of this booking error tells future guests everything they need to know.

The owner and the vibe were great.

The views and the bed were very comfortable. The cleaning was lacking; the wardrobes and floor were dirty even though the sheets and beds were clean. The path to the accommodation could be improved—slippery stones and sand.
