The hotel’s spot is spot‑on—just 16–20 minutes from the airport. It’s a big, pretty place; our room was small but we used it only for sleeping, and it had a kettle plus tea and coffee supplies. The beach is a 5‑minute walk away, calm and free of buoys for a peaceful swim. A tree‑shaded jogging path runs along the beach all the way to Sanya Bay—a 5 km walk. Dadonghai is a 30‑minute taxi ride. We liked watching planes from the balcony and the pool area. The immediate surroundings stay quiet, though a café‑lined street with tasty, very affordable food is a 20–30 minute walk across the river. We didn’t eat at the hotel, except for coffee in the lobby, and overall we really enjoyed our stay!
