The food was outstanding, the staff were friendly, chatty, and helpful. The only discomfort was the bed, which was too soft, and the pillows, which were too thick and only one per bedmate—bringing my own will solve that.

The staff were fantastic and made us feel welcome and comfortable. An adorable cat ran into our room the first night and stayed to sleep with us, which was a huge plus. The wranglers were great and the horses were very nice. They tried to schedule activities around each guest’s schedule and preferences, which I thought was awesome. Getting there is tough if you don’t drive; the shuttle costs $300 one‑way. There was only one loping trail, but plenty of walking trails.
