The room and bathroom were large, and there’s a shared kitchen for those who want one. It’s very clean. The location is far from Burgau’s center, the room faces a busy road with no double glazing, and the decor is very rustic.

The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. It’s close to the center and near the Vicenza walking trail. Nothing else to note.

The owner stops by in the evening and is very friendly; you feel at home right away. The location is a bit off the main road, but there’s a supermarket in the village and good places to eat.

Check‑in was straightforward, and the hostel had everything I’d need as a hiker. The beds were comfy, the bathroom spotless, and the kitchen fully equipped. I booked the “dorm,” which isn’t really a dorm—it only has two beds—so I knew I’d share a room with just one other person. That was fine with me.
