Clean, quiet, and well‑located, but the staff were disorganized and argued over which bed to use.

One of the worst hostels in Budapest. Definitely not recommended. Problems at check‑in, they even tried to put me in a different room. The lower beds have no curtains. The cooking equipment is bad; there isn’t even a kettle to boil water.

It’s centrally located and cheap. Some of the beds have a retractable curtain for a bit of privacy. There’s a fridge, microwave, and you can cook. You can’t really get in touch with the owner, or if you do, they at least should send the codes, room number, etc. faster after you send a photo of your ID, which caused me trouble. The other issue was the fire alarm, which rang at full volume for 10 minutes after a guest burned their dinner. The crowd is mixed, mostly foreigners, but as a hostel I expected that.
