I hated it. Everything was awful. The place should definitely close down because it was absolutely disgusting. The shared bathroom was filthy, there were holes everywhere in the rooms and cigarette burns on the bedding, no hot water in the rooms, no light bulbs, and the windows neither opened nor closed properly.

The location was close to everything and street parking was free. The let‑down was the shared toilet and shower room: we had to descend many stairs to use the toilet and never used the shower because it wasn’t clean. If you’re given a room close to the toilet and shower, then it could be manageable. The room itself was clean but wasn’t what book.com described. You get a fridge, a microwave, and a kettle. The street itself is a bit tatty, so you get what you pay for. Shared toilet is a no‑no for me.

The staff were friendly, but we experienced disturbances every night with someone kicking doors and such.

When we arrived, the owner and a cute little girl helped him greet us; we were first assigned an upstairs room but, seeing we had a pram, he moved us to the ground floor and quickly vacuumed and prepared the room. It was clean and comfortable, with a TV, fridge, kettle, drink facilities, and even a microwave. It’s close to everything. We stayed for three days and will definitely return. Thanks again. The shared bathroom was not a problem.

The spot was great and parking on the street was free, but when I told the front‑desk guy that we couldn't get onto the Wi‑Fi, he dismissed me, saying he had other properties to manage, and left me and my two kids without internet for two nights and three days. The hot tap in our room was broken, and the TV had no remote—though that was a minor inconvenience because we could still change channels directly on the unit. The building’s entrance even felt like a dump site right next to the stairs.
