The place is in a great spot, just steps from the cleanest beach and the sea is amazing. The hotel is small, so the beach stays quiet. There are a few loungers, but they’re always enough. I chose the simplest room, and the balcony with palm‑shaded loungers was a real treat. The AC worked all the time, so after the heat outside it was a relief to cool down. The room had everything from toiletries to beach slippers. The staff were friendly and ready to help with anything. If you’re into luxury, this isn’t it; here it’s nature, cleanliness, comfort, no extra flash. I couldn’t get used to the food; the breakfasts were more geared toward locals.

Everything was great—except the beach loungers! Could you please get them in shape? They should move instead of being stuck, the headrests should lift (many were nailed down), and please put mattresses on the loungers like at the nearby Hualuxe. Other than that, we loved everything and had a fantastic time. Wishing the hotel continued success! We’ll definitely come back.

The hotel sits on the shore of a beautiful lake, and walking around it is a pleasure. The hotel itself is small but cozy, with a great pool and a reasonably priced buffet in the evening. Breakfast is excellent, cooked wonderfully, and very tasty. The menu is diverse, more like a lunch spread—fried fish, stewed vegetables, chicken or duck, fresh fruit, coffee, juices, etc. The beach is clean, just 200 m from the hotel, and the tide brings in nice shells. It would be nice to have a balcony in my room to sit in the evening. There are no sun umbrellas or even basic changing rooms on the beach. You’re only allowed to swim in the “pens”; you can’t swim beyond the buoys, and at 18:00 they’ll kick you out of the water.

Our room was huge, with a terrace and bathtub, and the staff did a great job with room service. The beach wasn't crowded, which was a plus. However, the pools weren't heated, and there wasn't much entertainment. We also noticed some mold, and the breakfast was lacking in European options. Plus, not everyone spoke English, and the menus were only in Chinese and Russian. Oh, and the evening menu was pricey, and there was construction noise from across the street.

This was the best hotel in Sanya for my budget - it's surrounded by high-end hotels, but the price was half as much. We arrived super early, around 4 am, and the staff were accommodating, even providing a comfy waiting room with big chairs. They woke us up for breakfast, which we could move to a different day. The hotel's also close to a fun walking street with cafes, shops, and street food. Our tour guide, Olga, was super helpful with booking excursions and figuring out the deposit.
