The room was fairly large, there were hot drinks available, and the bathroom was good, but the pillows were far too thick, the mattress was too firm, street noise was loud, and there were no blackout curtains.

The place was way too noisy, the bed and pillow were too hard, every Zoom room had separate locks that felt like a prison, and all rooms had a bad smell.

The host actually owns several properties; the first room we got didn’t match the pictures – it was a cramped, noisy loft facing the street. I couldn’t understand why earlier reviews were so good. After talking with the host, he immediately moved us to a separate, quiet, spacious house. So if you’re staying outside, be bold about your needs; if it’s not working, leave. Have a good trip and rest well.

The accommodation was near a night market and a few restaurants, on the edge of the city center so you could walk everywhere in the old town, and I never needed a taxi. The Wi‑Fi was very strong and stable, fast enough for my work, and there was a very comfortable brand‑new chair in front of the desk, which was also large. The walls were paper, and on the 3rd floor with all windows closed I could hear every car, motorbike, and truck so badly that I couldn’t sleep; I woke up every 1‑2 hours from the extreme street noise. It felt like sleeping in a tent on the sidewalk. In Thailand I stayed in more central ground‑floor places and never had such a problem. There was absolutely no sound insulation. Think carefully before booking – it’s definitely not worth it.

The place is right by the night markets, though the rooms felt a touch cramped, yet it was still a pleasant stay.
