The spot is handy – there’s a decent breakfast and parking isn’t a hassle. The room itself is pretty basic and the shower stall could have been cleaner.

Everything about this place was terrible; I can’t think of a single thing that worked right.

We loved the romantic touches in the honeymoon suite and the staff went out of their way to make it special; breakfast was tasty and had plenty of options. On the downside, there was no phone to reach the front desk, we had to run down for an extra towel and for tour info, the parking space is tiny, the shower struggled to heat up, and the three days we stayed were cold and rainy despite it being summer.

Friendly staff and a solid breakfast made the mornings pleasant, and the hotel’s close to Atafona beach, the church beach, and the river – perfect for a low‑key beach getaway.

The location is spot‑on, the staff are professional, and the breakfast feels honest; the rooms are generally clean with fresh‑smelling linens and a comfortable mattress. However, we found ripped bedding, peeling paint, a leaky bathroom, dim lighting, a rusty shampoo holder, and an oddly high step on the stairs that we were warned about.
