The house is beautifully decorated and sits in a stunning mountain setting. Our room felt romantic and cozy, and we were warmly welcomed by Mme. Nathalie and her son, who served a delicious breakfast every morning. I wish I could have stayed much longer; those days were unforgettable! Nothing to complain about – everything was perfect.

The stay had a vintage vibe that was very pleasant and refined, a nostalgic pleasure to enjoy as you look around each large room of this grand house, evoking the belle époque in Guadeloupe. Nathalie, a charming hostess, gives excellent advice on walks and excursions. Her gourmet breakfast deserves five stars. The only downside was the rain – but that’s part of Saint Claude’s charm.

We loved the authenticity of the place and its history as told by Nathalie. Nathalie and her son Clément were kind, helping us get an Uber at night when our rental car broke down. The breakfast was very generous, and Nathalie offered plenty of tips for visits and hikes. Thank you so much; staying with Nathalie became a favorite memory. Nothing to add – the place was perfect, close to the soufrière and waterfalls.
