I was shocked when the hotel deducted the full €200 deposit without any prior notice, even though the staff left me smiling and no issues were mentioned. The room was spotless, with no cigarette smell or damage, yet I was accused of smoking, which I never did. Ultimately, the €200 was kept because the fire alarm in my room supposedly triggered, but no clear explanation was given. After many attempts and complaints, the hotel still refuses to refund me or offer any gesture. Retaining an entire deposit for such a vague reason, without concrete proof or a coherent explanation, is unacceptable. Be cautious with your deposit!
