Quiet and in an excellent spot for visiting Cognac and the surrounding area.

Breakfast wasn’t included, but the studio was comfortable. There was no welcome at arrival; I had to call in the evening to get the TV working and bother the staff in the morning for the coffee machine, which was faulty (the same issue the next morning). The second night, a dog barked for an hour.

The bed was comfortable and the table was handy for work. Parking is just 50 m away. It’s a single room. There was a problem with the internet connection, even though the wifi is free. This issue isn’t unique to this place; I stayed in another guesthouse around Cognac and had the same problem.

The room is well situated and easy to reach, and the building itself is charming; the space is functional and pleasant. The sound quality could use improvement, as you can hear a background noise like a boiler or electrical equipment.
