The staff were friendly and pleasant. After 21:00 the front desk was unmanned, so check‑in was automatic. The price was paid on site at a ticket machine, cash only. A shared fridge was in the common area where you could write your name and leave things. A shower room was built on the roof and available. Being inside the market arcade and close to Yachimun Street made it good for a walk or shopping the next morning. The bar area in the back of the market street was on top of a mixed‑use building, so while the location was convenient, drunk people lying around on the way made the vibe not great (not the hotel’s fault). The facilities were old, so comfort was limited. At that low rate you just have to endure it, but it’s not suitable for families with kids. The private room air‑conditioner was a coin‑operated 100 yen per hour, while dorm rooms were free. Guests sometimes ran into each other in front of the shower room or in the common area, but there were no social people, so even a simple greeting was missing and it felt scary (repeated, but not the hotel’s fault).

The spot is great because you can walk through the shopping street from Kokusai‑dori and grab food or drinks nearby—convenient location. I think they’ll understand if I say the back is “Hyatt.” The front desk is on the third floor and there’s no elevator, which was a bit annoying, but I could drop my luggage in the room, grab a drink, and leave quickly.

It was good that I could book on the same day at a reasonable price. I called because the check‑in time seemed late, but I couldn’t get through and it happened twice, which was troublesome.

The place sits in a good spot. However, it’s cramped, smells bad, and feels a bit awkward. The shower and toilet are awful, and you have to pay extra for the A/C. The door lock is weak and you can hear everything from neighboring rooms.
