The place is right where you want to be—close to everything—but after a few nights the owners stopped cleaning the room. I asked them nicely to tidy up, and they flat‑out refused, which was pretty disappointing.

We were greeted warmly by the owner's daughter and aunt, but it quickly became clear they couldn't make any decisions on their own. When we tried to pay, they told us cards weren’t accepted because the owner had taken the machine for Mother’s Day, and they overcharged us by about 1,500 CRC.
