The place was very cozy, clean, and every detail in the rooms’ décor was taken care of. The staff were extremely pleasant and served us wonderfully; we especially loved their delicious fondue. We chose to have breakfast at the hotel, it was excellent, and we left feeling satisfied. Everything seemed great.

Close to Gruyères, the rooms were functional and the breakfast was nice. It would be better to use real glass instead of plastic cups.

We travelled everywhere by public transport and the hotel’s location next to the train station was perfect. We ate well at the restaurant in the evening. The staff welcomed us warmly, the room was comfortable with a lovely mountain view, and the terrace was beautiful for sunset. The church bell rang every hour, which didn’t bother us, but for sensitive ears there were noise‑cancelling earplugs available. The breakfast could have offered the option to choose how cooked my egg was and included whole‑grain bread instead of white.

The personnel were friendly and welcoming, and we could arrive early without any issues. The room and bathroom were spacious. The towels were old and worn, so they should be replaced. The booking states check‑out until 12.00 pm, but the hotel says 11.00 am, which causes confusion. The room is pricey for what it offers. There is no water in the room, no way to make coffee or tea, and as mentioned, the towels are old and worn.

I couldn't even get a phone call; the door was locked, no way to dial, and they only replied via email. I called the next day for an explanation of the special situation, but they ignored it and still charged me the full fee.
