The walk to town was convenient, but the room needed an update: the sink drain was bad, the bathroom door had to be propped open with a towel on the floor, the air conditioner was so loud it made sleeping tough, there was no elevator, the ice machine was only at the front desk, and that desk was open from 8:00 to 8:00, so any coffee or ice after 8:00 pm was impossible; plus the 10:00 am checkout felt too early.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and I can’t say enough good things about them. The room was very spacious and the location is excellent, but I didn’t realize it was a motel‑style building until we checked in, which was my mistake, and everything was a bit rougher around the edges than I expected for the price—though that’s more about being at a tourist spot during peak season. The bathroom was also VERY small.

The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and the staff were great, plus the location was excellent. I would recommend asking for a second‑floor room because the floors are a little squeaky and if guests above you pace all night, you’ll hear it all night; that’s not the hotel’s fault, just a circumstance that could happen, so request the 2nd floor to avoid having someone above you if possible.
