“Good stay”

The mattress and host were very nice, the place was generally clean and quiet, but the room and bathroom need some renovation and more toiletries; it looked a little better in photos.

“Bien”

The room was clean and cozy, but the Wi‑Fi didn’t work; the manager compensated us with breakfast instead. We also wished we had a kettle and a small fridge.

The host was friendly and replied quickly on WhatsApp (though the Wi‑Fi issue wasn’t resolved), treats were provided for our dog, the remote check‑in was easy, and free public parking was nearby; the breakfast was simple but fair for €7. However, the advertised in‑room Wi‑Fi didn’t work, so we had to use the ground‑floor living room, which isn’t ideal after a long journey. The main living room and hallway on the ground floor smelled strongly of dampness, making it unpleasant to eat there; although there was a second odor‑free dining room, we were forced to sit in the damp one—probably because we had a dog, since the hotel policy forbids leaving pets alone in the room. Sound insulation was very poor, and we could hear every movement from other guests at night. There were no mosquito screens on the windows, and they were left open before we arrived, so the room was full of mosquitoes when we checked in; the second room in our unit also had an open window that let in even more insects, making it hard to sleep. The photos of the hotel look much better than reality; the room needs cosmetic renovation (there was rust in the bathroom) and better lighting, as the lights were too dim in the evening.
