The Deluxe King Room features a king‑size bed for two guests. The private bathroom includes a shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer. Inside the room you’ll find heating, a tea and coffee maker, a flat‑screen TV with streaming services and complimentary chocolate.
The location was good for visiting family in Sandy, but the light in the middle of the room wasn’t working, making it a little dark, and there was noise from a party going on in the garden.

We stayed at the Wheatsheaf in Sandy after a funeral to honor a long‑lived friend, and the accommodation, staff and facilities were outstanding; the only downside was a nearby roundabout on the main road undergoing major renovation.

Breakfast was not provided, and when I was leaving, no staff were available at first.
A lovely garden centre breakfast spot with helpful staff and no complaints.
It was easy to reach from the A1, but there was no food available nearby and the bedding felt damp.
