Silence Paradise is the best vacation spot we’ve ever stayed at. The location is perfect—just a 5‑minute walk to Silent Beach and no more than 10 minutes to Goyambokka Beach, with other nearby beaches along the coast. The beach area of this part of the island is truly the most beautiful. The guesthouse is tucked away from the road, so traffic noise is absent; you can open the windows and hear the jungle sounds, a real tropical jungle, with a live open‑air zoo. Every day you can spot chipmunks, peacocks, monitor lizards, mongooses, parrots, toucans, flying foxes, and of course langurs. The terrace offers stunning sunsets while you sip fresh juice—a real reset from everyday work. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, and the most treasured part is the people who are ready to help with any question. The owner and managers are incredibly warm, responsive, friendly, and creative—people we’ve never met before. They made our vacation unforgettable! You can pre‑order breakfasts, lunches, and dinners; the food is incredibly delicious. This was our first time in Sri Lanka, and they showed us everything, explained everything, and gave us many life hacks for the most comfortable stay. Within walking distance are shops, restaurants, and fruit stalls for any budget. Tangalle town is nearby, with familiar shops, a fruit market, and a small port where you can buy the freshest seafood at low prices in the morning. If you travel by bike, you can leave it safely on the property. Free Wi‑Fi, hot water in the room, and a kitchen on the ground floor let you cook your own meals if you wish. Each bed has a high orthopedic mattress—your back will thank you! We can say with complete confidence that the high rating is well deserved.
