“Solid stay for the price”

The hotel offers free, private parking, and the staff were very friendly. There are two old‑style elevators. The room was clean and the pillows were comfortable. The price matched what was provided. The location was nice, with a grocery store right across the street, and there’s a coffee machine on the ground floor. Overall, the stay was better than I expected based on the pictures and other reviews. The only downside was that on our floor the shower water pressure was a little underpowered.

The only thing that was adequate was the shower pressure and that hot water reached the 7th floor immediately. However, the hotel was old, which was not a problem, but the room we were given was dirty, damaged, and had filthy furniture. On the balcony there was bird droppings, plaster was falling off, windows were dirty and unwashed, and the bathroom ceiling was peeling. The first room was so awful we refused it, but the second one was a little better.

The location was spot on, everything close—supermarket, shops, even the beds were comfy. The rest fell short: the bathroom had a grimy wall, door stains everywhere, the shower head was broken, and there was no view as promised. I sent a few messages about the accommodation and got no reply; the reception told me to contact them via Booking. The reception staff were nice and friendly though.

I liked the location and the room was clean as much as possible, but I didn’t like the mold on the bathroom silicone and the overall lack of maintenance in the rooms.
