Overall it was mostly good, the location was excellent, it was managed fairly well, and they accept US dollars which is a plus, but the Wi‑Fi was weak.

I generally liked ONOMO, but during my stay I had an incident with the cleaning crew and the manager of that department came down personally to apologize, explain things, and reassure me, which meant a lot; otherwise the whole team, the room, the comfort, the location and the price made me very happy and I’ll definitely return.

The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean, but the food service was slow and sometimes the orders were wrong.

The room was spotless and had all the basics, and it was just a short walk to the town and the station, plus a guard was always on duty so I felt safe. The Wi‑Fi performed well. It would be helpful if MasterCard were accepted, since only cash or VISA work now. I tried to message them through the booking site at first and got no reply, which worried me, so I looked up their website and emailed them directly. The airport shuttle did show up, although I had trouble finding it the first time, and it returned for my departure as well. I paid 2100 medicals each way at the hotel. When the front‑desk staff changed, the handover seemed incomplete; they claimed I hadn’t paid for the shuttle even though I’d already settled it, and only after I pressed them did they figure it out. Dealing in Portuguese added a bit of difficulty.
