The sunset and night sky were spectacular, and the mattress was very comfortable, but the wagon couldn't lock and we were the only guests on the property, which was a bit scary, so I rated it 8.0/10.

We slept in a meticulously restored ox wagon from the Great Trek era, a rough camping style with modern comforts that we expected; choosing the least comfortable camp left us wanting nothing, an adventurous yet humbling experience that exposed us to the hardships pioneers endured—thanks to Hester, a kind and thoughtful host; we were satisfied with everything, showering under the stars with a watering can and drinking fresh cold borehole water, a memory maker; other sites might be less rustic, but we enjoyed our stay, giving it a 10.0/10.
