One of the best countryside places I have seen so far. Dame is an exceptional host, soft‑hearted and funny, making your stay in Lemon Garden feel the happiest, calmest and most self‑fulfilling place on Earth. His mother makes the best homemade food I have ever tried in my life, delicious and full of love, perfect and one‑of‑a‑kind Macedonian food.

We received a larger room than we had booked in another building. There was a huge bathroom. The mattress lay fine. The wifi was good. The motors could be on a kind of yard. The family was extremely warm. We have been traveling for two months, but we have never experienced this level of hospitality. They cooked for us, gave us cups of coffee and a bottle of water. They also showed us where the restaurant and the shop were. You felt like part of the family. Damian and Stanka, you deserve an 11! There were and were still many items everywhere and some things still needed finishing, which made it a bit messy. That’s why it’s a 9, but because of your warmth we can’t give you anything but a 10!

The hosts were welcoming and always ready to help with any questions, the homemade food and wine were fantastic, the newly renovated traditional house featured a real lemon garden, getting to the city center was easy, and the nearby nature was perfect for hiking, mountain biking, and exploring.

The price‑performance ratio is very good; aside from a barking dog and an early‑morning rooster, it’s quiet at night. The room feels cozy and the owners are friendly and helpful. It’s not like a hotel that costs a fortune, but it’s a place to feel comfortable. There is no air‑conditioning, but I knew that beforehand since it isn’t part of the setup. The room was easy to ventilate and the temperatures were still tolerable.
