What we appreciated was the reception staff’s effort; they genuinely tried their best to help us despite limited resources and juggling many duties, and I felt sorry for them because many shortcomings seemed beyond their control. The stay was very disappointing – the hotel clearly needs renovation. We were extremely let down: from the moment we arrived the whole property smelled of smoke and damp; our room looked and smelled as if it had suffered water damage, the carpet showed significant water damage, and the air conditioning only blew cool air like a fan instead of actually cooling the room. Several electrical outlets didn’t work, there were no charging points or plugs conveniently near the bed, and the curtains were visibly worn and needed replacement. The hotel seemed seriously understaffed; the reception staff had to handle porter duties at the same time, causing delays and a limited service experience. A language barrier made it hard to resolve issues even with a translation app. Overall, the hotel needs substantial investment and refurbishment; the outdated facilities, smoke and damp smell, apparent water damage, faulty air conditioning and plugs, worn furnishings, and limited staffing made the stay very disappointing. We would not stay here again and cannot recommend the hotel in its current state.

The room was clean, comfortable and well‑situated. The lighting in the room was a bit dim and the breakfast choices were limited, with hygiene that could be improved.
