The sunsets were beautiful. Even though the accommodation isn’t in a central location, a bus runs every hour or half hour. Walking takes about 20 minutes and the route is pleasant, especially at sunset. The downside is that you have your own quiet space and even an onsen, but you should be aware of some hygiene issues. Parts of the accommodation, especially the pipes, haven’t been renovated, which is also visible in the onsen (men’s onsen). Additionally, there were long black hairs all over the tatami mat in my room that didn’t belong to me; that was a bit disgusting.

“Cheap and cheerful, no food or shops, so own transport v useful, lucky if you can get a nice sunset!”

The view from the room and the hotel’s bath were great. I can’t complain—you get what you pay for!

The location was fantastic, the staff were kind and left a good impression, the low price was a plus and the bath was enjoyable; however, the room lacked a private toilet and sink, forcing guests to use shared gender‑neutral facilities on the floor.

The daiyokujō was one of the highlights of my trip—spacious, quiet and with a gorgeous sea view, and at night the stars were crystal clear thanks to the minimal light pollution. The room shared that beautiful ocean vista, and the receptionist was consistently friendly and attentive from the start. The only drawback was a noisy night, but the staff dealt with it promptly and moved me to another room. It’s a pity the hotel no longer has a restaurant, as dining while taking in that stunning view would have been wonderful.

“We loved the view and terrace, check in was hassle free, great location.”

The spot is great, the place is spotless and huge, and the terrace offers a stunning view; there’s an electric hot plate for BBQ, plenty of showers and toilets, which is perfect for a large group, though a sofa would have been nice but it’s not a huge issue.
