The place was gorgeous with stunning views of the Douro and the countryside, and it was far off the beaten path, so it was super quiet. The facilities were top‑class and the swimming pool was lovely. The only downside was that the location, while beautiful, was hard to find and get to the spots we wanted to visit.

I stayed in a quiet hillside spot with a nice view from the window, and the room was very clean and cozy. The swimming pool was a plus, and the kitchen was well‑equipped. The nearest town had a good supermarket. I wish the check‑in process had been explained a bit more clearly and there were more obvious signs pointing to the house. The hosts don’t speak English, but they’re very sweet and friendly, and we got translation help from our neighbors.

The views of the Douro were amazing, and the site was perfect for relaxing. The hosts were very friendly throughout our stay, and the host, Bingo, was an excellent person. Because the place is so remote, many people bring their own snacks for dinner. The kitchen is fully equipped and has plenty of tables inside, but it would be great to have more tables on the outdoor terrace (there are many chairs) to enjoy hot summer evenings.
