The old building really adds character and the staff were unbelievably helpful and friendly. Breakfast was solid – filtered coffee, tasty scrambled eggs and homemade regional honey and jams. The only gripe was the Classic room’s lack of storage space and the fact they don’t provide a Leogang Card for two free lift rides.

Central spot with fantastic views, food that hit the spot, and staff who made you feel genuinely welcome—from breakfast to dinner. I can’t think of any downside at all.

The inn and its crew radiate a warm, welcoming vibe, and the rooms are uniquely decorated. Bonus: the wooden floorboards are original, about 700 years old.

Great central location, free parking, a tidy room and a working bathroom, plus a varied breakfast and friendly staff. Just keep in mind there’s no elevator (didn’t matter for us) and the restaurant is closed two days a week. Otherwise, solid stay.
