The host and staff are lovely. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils, though a coffee machine would be handy, and coffee and tea are available for everyone. The room is clean, but blinds would help, especially on the ground floor where the low windows let anyone peek in. The chair upholstery was dirty, but after asking for a clean cover, the staff brought one right away and put it on. Similar clean covers were on all kitchen chairs. The lack of blinds on the windows and the small window on the ground floor made the room quite dark and chilly.

The staff are very friendly and there’s free parking on the premises, but there’s no trash bin in the room, no shampoo or shower gel, a broken fan/vent in the bathroom, and a huge water‑damage stain on the ceiling.

“Buono ma poca attenzione per le piccole cose.”

The price is good, and the hotel is a 20‑minute walk from Cieplewo station, or a 15‑minute train ride to Danzica central. The only downside is that there’s no hair dryer and only one towel for shower and face for two days; a bit more customer care would make the place truly nice.

“Liber”

The garden is nice and the owners respond quickly, but the equipment is lacking, the rooms feel cold, and there’s a terrible smell in the kitchen.
