The vibe was great, it was awesome.

The location was good and quiet. We didn’t get the room we booked; instead we were given a smaller one with worse furnishings. The room was shown to us just before check‑in, and when we pointed out that it didn’t match what we had paid for, no staff member was reachable. The whole property feels like a youth hostel in terms of comfort.

Everything. Nothing.

After a long wait, I finally called at 17h30 to ask where the room key would be left and how to identify the room. The inclusive concept, mixing people without specific disabilities, was a good idea. The setting was pleasant, with vintage decorations from Saint-Laurent-en-Grandvaux and tourist brochures about the Jura. In the end, a guide for a group of disabled guests found the electronic key, not on a wheelchair as agreed with the front desk over the phone, but on the window support of the shelter before entering the hotel. There was no clear indication during the booking about the possibility of reserving breakfast. The mattress was a bit firm and the bed narrow, but the room was clean, comfortable and functional. A guest, probably disabled and lost on the floor, tried to enter my room, speaking incomprehensible words, and was quickly directed to his own room by a group facilitator.
